Reservations applications and Terms & Conditions signature page must be filled out in its entirety and presented for approval. Allow two to five business days for verification of information. Upon receipt of application half of the rental down payment will be charged to the credit card on file. No reservations can be held without receipt of the reservation down payment. To reserve a date it is half down at the time of reservation which will be deducted against the rental; reservations are on a first come first serve basis, all units are subject to sales. In the case the unit you desire is sold, we reserve the right to substitute by floor plan. We will do our best to accommodate according to similar floor plan and amount of people you need to sleep. Should another unit not be available, the company’s liability will be limited to the refund of all refundable monies paid by the customer (the down payment). Certain major events and holidays will require a 4 night minimum rental. All summer rentals will require a 4 night minimum. Please ask which holidays and events will require 4 nights minimum. Any and all cancellations will forfeit all down payments and monies paid to secure and rent from RENT ME RVS. Money is due in full 14 days from the scheduled departure date. If the rental is booked and a customer does not show up for the scheduled date the rental fees for the days not picked up will be forfeited. The nightly rate will apply unit the unit is picked up for the rental period reserved. Under no circumstances will there be any refunds on early rental returns.
Security deposit of $1,000 for all trailers and motorhomes are required. Security deposits must be paid in full no later than 3 days before pick up date. Deposits may be made by cash or credit card. However, a signed card authorization is required to be on file. Major credit cards accepted: Visa & MasterCard (subject to a 2% convenient fee & 3% for AMEX/Discover). Checks are accepted if received at least 2 weeks prior to departure and must clear bank (NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT TIME OF PICK UP). Deposits will be refunded up to 10 days after the unit is returned providing it is returned in the same conditions as it was when it was rented; gas tanks same as it went out and no new damage done to the recreational vehicle, and all other terms and conditions have been meet. Our service department has 10 days from the day of return to inspect the unit for any damages cosmetic, functionality, or any other type of damage. Deposits will be credited in the same manner given for checks and credit cards. Cash deposits will be returned in the form of a check. Damages, additional charges, or any disputed may further delay deposit refund. Customer is responsible for 100% of all damages and cost to the rented unit regardless if insurance company will cover damages. There is no smoking allowed in or around our rental units. If the unit is returned with the smell of smoke or camp fire smoke deposits will be forfeited and additional charges may apply. If you like to take a pet with you on the trip there is an additional $750 deposit for the “invisible pet” and a $20 nightly pet rate. If the unit is returned and shows signs of a pet being inside, the pet deposit as well as the security deposit will be forfeited and additional fees may apply. Under no circumstances will rentals be accepted for return outside of normal business hours of 830-3:30pm Monday – Saturday. There is no Mexico or Canada travel under any condition. In the event a unit is not returned at its scheduled appointment time a fee $ 20 for every hour up to 3 hours plus a $50 unauthorized use charge will apply. Private, gravel, dirt, beaches, or other non-public roads are prohibited. Customers will be fully responsible for accidents or mechanical breakdowns occurring in a travel restricted area. Security deposit will be forfeited and additional charges may apply. All state and federal laws apply while in the possession of the rv rental. NO TEXTING WHILE DRIVING, NO DRIVING WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ANY SUBSTANCE, DO NOT OPERATE WHILE TAKING MEDICATION. The driver and each occupant of a motor vehicle must wear properly fastened seat belts manufactured in compliance with the provisions of the code of federal regulations, title 49, section 517.208, whenever the vehicle is in motion.
All RV drivers must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid California driver’s license. All drivers must sign an agreement. All renters for trailers must be 21 years of age. “California Law requires all children under 8 years of age to be transported in the rear seat of the vehicle in a child restraint system. We offer these child restraint systems if you do not have a child restraint system yourself.
Customers are provided a service contact telephone number. In case where a service call is required due to inappropriate use by customers of a unit’s mechanical feature, a service call fee will be charged at the rate of $95/hour plus mileage with a minimum charge of $95. This is our normal mobile service rate. (including drive time) RENT ME RVS is not responsible for any manufacturer defect or failure and there will be no refund issued in those cases. Certain things such as TV, DVD, CD, GENERATOR, AIR CONDITIONER, REFRIGERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL, AWNING, SLIDE-OUT MALFUNCTION, MICROWAVE, APPLIANCE, BATTERIES, ETC. ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE BREAKDOWNS.
Dry camping is not advised. When the renter is “dry camping” they are not connected to an external power source. Problems will most likely arise due to a low battery or failure. The battery will continue to stay low until renter is connected to an external power source. RENT ME RVS is not responsible for battery being low or any appliance malfunctions of the vehicle due to dry camping. NO REIMBURSEMENT will be given for ‘DRY CAMPING MALFUNCTIONS”. RENT ME RVS is not responsible for flat tires, blow outs, or any tire repairs. Customer is liable for all parking tickets and traffic violations. Report all accidents to the rental office and police immediately. Should a break down occur, customer must notify rental office for repair authorization and follow instructions provided by RENT ME RVS. The customer is responsible for checking engine oil, fluids, lug nuts, wheels, tires and coolant level at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failure immediately. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failures to provide normal maintenance. In the event the vehicle is in breakdown for 12 hours or more, though not fault of the customer, our responsibility to customer is limited to refund of nightly rate or portion thereof. Radio, DVD, CD, GENERATOR, AIR CONDITIONER, MICROWAVE, APPLIANCES, BATTERY, REFRIGERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL, AWNING, SLIDE-OUT MALFUNCTIO, ETC. ARE NOT CONDISERED TO BE BREAKDOWNS AND NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THESE ITEMS.
No towing is allowed behind any rental unit. Unauthorized towing will result in forfeiture of deposit and possible additional charges. RENT ME RVS can install towing accessories on most models. Please ask for price of each installation. Please schedule an appointment prior to pick up time to avoid any further delays. “Agreement” means all terms and conditions found in these Terms & Conditions, the Face Page, any addenda and any additional materials that we provide and that you sign at the time of rental. “You” or ‘Your” means the person identified as the renter in this Agreement, any person signing this Agreement, and AUTHORIZED DRIVER and any person or organization to whom charges are billed by us at its or the renter’s direction. All persons referred to as “you” or “your” are jointly and severally bound by this Agreement. “We”, “our” or “us” means the rental company named in this Agreement. “Authorized Driver” means (a)the renter and the renter’s spouse; (b) the renter’s employer and co-worker if engaged in business activity with the renters; and (c) any additional driver listed by us on this Agreement provided that each such person has a valid driver’s license and is at least 25 years of age. Only Authorized Drivers are permitted to drive the Vehicle. “Vehicle” means the recreational vehicle, motorhome, truck camper or other motorized vehicle identified in the Agreement and any vehicle we substitute for it, and all its tires, tools, accessories, equipment, appliances, keys and vehicle documents. The vehicle may be equipped with global positioning satellite (“GPS”) technology or another telematics system and or an event data recorder, and privacy is not guaranteed. “Rental Period” means the period between the times you take possession of the Vehicle unit the Vehicle is either returned to or recovered by us and checked in by us. “Vehicle License Fee, “ “Vehicle Licensing, “Vehicle License Prop Tax,” “Vehicle License Cost Recovery Fee,” or “Motor Vehicle Tax” means a vehicle license cost recovery fee based on our estimated average per day per vehicle portion of our total annual vehicle licensing, titling, and registration cost or as otherwise defined under applicable law.
This is a contract for the rental of the vehicle. We may repossess the vehicle at your expense without notice to you if the vehicle is abandoned or used in violation of law or this Agreement. You agree to indemnify us, defend us and hold us harmless form all claims, liability, cost and attorney fees we incur resulting from or arising out of, this rental or your use of the vehicle or our repossession of it. We make no warranties, express, implied or apparent, regarding the vehicle or optional equipment, no warranty of merchantability and no warranty that the vehicle or optional equipment is fit for a particular purpose.
You must return the vehicle to our rental office or other location we specify, on the date and time specified in this agreement, and in the same condition that you received it, except for ordinary wear. If you wish to extend the rental period a written amendment must be sent in and approved by us before the due-in date. If the vehicle is returned after closing hours, you remain responsible for the loss of and any damage to the vehicle until we inspect it upon our next opening for business, and charges may continue to accrue. Service to the vehicle or replacement of parts or accessories during the rental must have our prior written approval. You must check and maintain all fluid levels, and return the vehicle with at least the same about of gas as when rented.
You are responsible for all damages to or loss of the vehicle caused by collision or loss of use of the vehicle while it is being repaired (refer to loss of use section), whether or not you are at fault. Your responsibility will include(a)all physical and mechanical damage to the vehicle measured as follows(i) if we determine that the vehicle is a total loss, the fair market value of the vehicle, calculated in accordance with Cal Civ Code 1936, less salvage; (iii) if we determine that the vehicle is repairable; the actual cost of the repairs performed or estimated cost of repairs if we elect not to repair the vehicle; (b) an administrative fee, calculated in accordance with Cal Civ Code 1936, (c) our actual charges for towing, storage, and impound fees, and (d) all cost associated with our enforcement of this Agreement or collection of Charges, including attorney’s fees, collection fees, and costs whether or not litigation is commenced. You are responsible for loss due to theft of the vehicle and any damage caused by vandalism that occurs in connection with a theft if you fail to exercise ordinary care while in possession of the vehicle. You are responsible for damage due to vandalism not associated with theft of the vehicle. You must report all accidents or incidents of theft and vandalism to us and the police as soon as you discover them, ( e) Diminution of the vehicles value caused by damage to it or repair of it, (not covered by insurance) The diminution in value charge is 2% of the value of the motor home/trailer.
Due to any of the causes listed below if fully the responsibility of the renter and will be charged to the renter. 1) Return of the rv by the renter past or before the contracted return date/or time, 2) Repairs from damage to the rv that are the responsibility of the renter that cause RENT ME RVS to not have use of the rv, 3) any other action by the renter that renders the rv unavailable for use. The rate charged will be our normal night peak rental rate.
If the rented RV breaks down or malfunctions to the extent it no longer provides the expected and contracted services then renter and RENT ME RVS agree that RENT ME RVS may replace that vehicle with a similar RV. Renter and RENT ME RVS agree that no more than one day of credit shall be afforded for any inconvenience caused by the breakdown or malfunction and renter is obligated under the contract for the replacement unto at the same terms and conditions of the original RV. It is in RENT ME RVS sole discretion based upon available inventory and circumstance to choose the replacement vehicle and where and how it is substituted for original RV.
The following uses of the vehicle are prohibited and are material breaches of the agreement. The vehicle shall not be used (a) by anyone who is not an authorized driver, or by anyone whose driving license is suspended in any jurisdiction; (b) by anyone under the influence of a prescription or non-prescription drug or alcohol; (c) by anyone who obtained the vehicle or extended the rental period by giving us false, fraudulent or misleading information, or who withheld information that would have caused us not to rent the vehicle; (d) in furtherance of any illegal purpose or under any circumstance that would constitute a felony or other violation of law (other than a minor traffic violation; ( e)to carry persons or property for hire; (f)to push or tow anything, to teach anyone to drive, or to carry object on the roof of the rv; (g) in any race, speed test or contest; (h) to carry dangerous or hazardous items or illegal material; (i) outside the united states, Canada or the geographic area indicated elsewhere in the agreement; (j) when loaded beyond its capacity as determined by the manufacturer of the rv; (k) on unpaved surfaces, except at licensed public campgrounds; (l) to transport more persons that the vehicle has seatbelts, or to carry person outside the passenger compartment; (m) to transport children without approved child safety seats as required by law; (n) when the odometer has been tampered with or disconnected; (o) when the vehicles fluid levels are low, or it is otherwise reasonable to expect you to know that further operation would damage the vehicle; (p) in a manner that causes damage to the vehicle due to inadequately secured cargo; (q) after an accident with the vehicle unless and until you summon the police to the accident scene; ( r) to transport an animal (other than a service animal); (s) in or through a structure of an underpass, gas station, drive-through, or other object where there is insufficient clearance (width or height); (t) by anyone who is sending an electronic message, including text (SMS) messages or emails while operating the rv, or (u) in violation of any “rules of the road” vehicle safety and operations training, or other similar materials or instructions that we provide to you at the time of rental. Siting, standing or lying on the roof of the RV and smoking in the RV also are prohibited. (v) All desert areas during hot periods including DEATH VALLY. During these periods, many areas are not habitable and could pose a danger to humans. Consult RENT ME RVS for complete list of restricted areas. (w) Gatherings or events, which could pose a danger to humans. PROHIBITED USE OF THE VEHILE VIOLATES THIS AGREEMENT AND VOIDS ALL LIABILITY AND OTHER INSURANCE COVERAGE (WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW).
NO BURNING MAN UNDER ANY CONDITIONS UNLESS IN WRITING SIGNED OFF BY RENT ME RVS. IF FOUND THAT CUSTOMER DOES GO TO BURNING MAN AGAINST OUR DEALERSHIPS RULES ALL DEPOSITS WILL BE LOST PLUS ADDITIONAL CHARGES INCLUDING BUY NOT LIMITED TO 3X TIME THE NIGHTLY RATE, DAMAGE, AND CLEANING. CUSTOMER WILL BE CHARGED FOR OUR TIME, DAMAGES, CLEANING, AND ANYTHING ELSE FOUND WRONG.
You are responsible for all damage or loss you cause to the RV and to others. You must provide us with proof of insurance indicating that you have primary motor vehicle liability, collision and comprehensive insurance covering you, us and the vehicle. Your insurance coverage will provide at least the minimum limits of coverage required by the financial responsibility laws of the state where the loss occurs. Additional insurance may be purchased on RV rentals. The policy contains exclusions, conditions, and limitations applicable to anyone claiming coverage. PIP, medical payment, no-fault, uninsured or under-insured motorist coverage will be for the minimum list required by applicable law. You must: (a) report all damage to us and all accidents to us and the police as soon as you discover them and complete our incident report form, and (b) provide us with a legible copy of any service process, pleading or notice any kind related to an accident or other incident involving the RV. Coverage until the policy is void if you give the RV to an unauthorized driver or otherwise.
You permit us to reserve against your credit/debit card (Reserve) or take cash deposit (Deposit) at the time of rental a reasonable amount in addition to the estimated charges. We may use the Reserve or Deposit to pay all charges. We will authorize the release of any excess deposit after the completion of your rental. Your debit/credit card issuer’s rules will apply to your account being credited for the excess, which may not be immediately released by the card issuer, and refund of your deposit may require up to 21 days processing and returning. You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities at or before conclusion this rental or on demand off charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the rental period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable; (c) optional products and services you purchased; (d) gas, if you return the rv with less gas than when rented; ( e) taxes and surcharges; (f) all expense we incur in locating and recovering the vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the rv under the terms of the agreement; (g) all cost, including pre-and post-judgement attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our right under the agreement; (h) a reasonable fee to clean the vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (i) a fee of up to $250 if you lose the keys to the rv; (j) a surcharge if you return the rv to a location other than the location where you rented the rv or if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each night ( or partial day) after the due-in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rented period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (k) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in optional equipment. All charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct charges with the payment card issuer.
You are responsible for paying the charging authorities directly all tolls (Tolls) and parking citations, photo enforcement fees, fines for toll evasion, and other fines, fees, and penalties (each a “Violation”) assessed against you, us or the rv during the rental period. If we are notified by the charging authorities that we may be responsible for payment of a toll or violation, you will pay us or a processing firm (Processor) of our choosing an administrative fee up to $50 for each such notification. You authorize us to release your rental and payment and information to a processor for processing and billing purposes. If we or the processor pay a toll or violation, you authorize us or the processor to charge all cash payment, service fees and administrate fees to the payment card you used in connection with this rental.
You release us, our agents, and employees from all claims for loss of or damage to your personal property or that of any other person, that we received, handles or stored, or that was left or carried in or on the vehicle or in any service vehicle or in our offices, whether or not the loss of damage was caused by our negligence or was otherwise our responsibility. You agree that we may disclose personally identifiable information about you to applicable law enforcement agencies or to other third parties in connection with our enforcement of our rights under this agreement and other legitimate business functions. Questions regarding privacy should be directed to the location where you rented the RV.
No terms of this agreement can be waived or modified except by in writing that we have signed. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us. All prior representations agreement between you and us regarding this rental are merged into this agreement.

A waver by us of any breach of this agreement is not a waiver of any additional breach or waiver of the performance of your obligations under this agreement. Our acceptance of payment from you or our failure, refusal or neglect to exercise any of our rights under this agreement does not constitute a waiver of any other provision of this agreement. You waive all recourse against us for any criminal reports of prosecutions that we take against you that arise out of your breach of this agreement. Unless prohibited by law, you release us from any liability for consequential, special or punitive damages in connection with this rental or the reservation of a RV. If any provision of the agreement is deemed void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions are valid and enforceable. Falsification of any information and/or documents there is a $2500 charge.
For safety reasons, all members of rentals party are expressly prohibited from use of the roof ladder and roof. Any evidence of use or access of either of these items will results full forfeiture of the security damage deposit in addition to any damage incurred.

Please let us know if special accommodations are needed in compliance with the ADA. For your convenience and to serve you best, schedule a specific arrival time for pick up. The RV will be checked out completely as to operation and condition with you and a representative before departure. At that time of check out, all rvs will have propane, gas (motorized only), holding tanks will be empty and the interior and exterior will be clean. **Only authorized drivers are allowed to pick up or return rvs. Non-compliance with this condition will result in forfeiture of security deposit and my leave customer liable for charges and damages. ** Allow at least one hour for check in and check out. Upon return, the rv will be inspected, all personal belongings removed. RENT ME RVS will not be held responsible for items left in the RV at time of return. Based on the condition of the rental RV at the time of return, the appropriate charges will be applied against the security deposits. In case damages to the RV, the proper documentation will be made at that time of return. For customers not picking up from our location and having the rental RV delivered to you, you waive all rights to a walk-thru. We advise it is best to see how to demonstrate all systems. If something is not working because of operator error RENT ME RVS is not obligated to refund any monies to the customer. The customer will be fully responsible for any items damage.
